About the event
Join us on Saturday, September 10 for a celebration of multicultural music and dance from around the world and across the Fox Cities!
- World Music and Dances: 9am-3pm in Houdini Plaza
Listen and dance as you enjoy performances representing diverse cultures such as African American, Brazilian, Caribbean, Central and South American, Chinese, European, Hmong, Indian, Japanese, Native American, Philippine, Thai, and more!
- Diversity Discovery Free Day sponsored by Ahlstrom-Munksjö: noon-5pm at the Building for Kids Children's Museum
The Building for Kids is hosting Diversity Discovery Free Day in partnership with Rhythms of the World! Admission to the museum is free for everyone from 12:00-5:00pm, as we explore elements of diversity that make our community stronger. Local non-profits and community groups will lead hands-on activities and will host performances for families to learn, discover, and celebrate this diversity of race/ethnicity, ability, belief, and family structure. Children and families of all backgrounds can come to the Building for Kids and see themselves in the programming while pursuing understanding of others.
- Tour at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center: noon-5pm
Get to know a precious gem in our community! Go on a tour of the facility and visit the "instrument petting zoo."
